Jolene needed a logo for her small home business creating bath and body products. With a company name which honors her ancestry, Vikul being her grandmother's maiden name in Thai, she wanted a logo that also reflected her heritage. She was very particular that she wanted it to include a lotus flower and have an ombre effect from lavender (a nod to the typical lotus flower's color) that blended out to a purple (as an homage to the orchid). Her packaging already had a fairly simple, organic feel with its untreated kraft brown paper, so the logo presented the additional challenge of meeting her strong vision while creating something a little different from the same overused lotus design.
